This week I have been mostly.......

......trying to keep the house tidy when the boys are off school......not possible... so I took myself off to the fabric cupboard and tidied that instead, quite obsessively... into colour co-ordinated piles which I then sat and stared at...... while mayhem went on around me :)

there's something comforting about the look and feel of these happy little piles that I sat for a long time admiring and arranging them...... I think my favourite is the pink pile.....

then I started on the pillowcase pile......

Anyway the moral of this story is that when I came to put them all back in the cupboard they wouldn't all go in ...so I gave myself a good talking to....decided that I would make some things to keep so that I can still see these lovelies everyday but the rest will have to go off to the shelves of littleteawagon....gulp...

and then the cupboard door will close :)

The post about spring.....again

Yes I'm going on about it again....but I can't help feeling its just around the corner and I have a 'Spring' in my step (or is that just the wind blowing me along??)

I've been a washing and a chopping some nice 'spring' like fabrics and a nice parcel arrived from my lovely flickr friend paperdolly with some lovely bedding and a cute little 'spring' like lamb!!! Also a weekend in Yorkshire with my mum/sis and some school friends.....shopping.....sleeping in and nice food was just the ticket :)

This little 7'' single has such a sweet cover, I'm loving that HUGE teapot!! The sky is blue and there is a nip in the air...my favourite time of year! Although I am having serious wardrobe malfunctions at the moment...its all a bit of a mish mash and if it rains.. well I'm aiming for Maggie Gyllenhal in Nanny Mcphee#2. But its more like Mrs Doubtfire crossed with Lily Allen (when she used to wear her trainers with everything!)
