My Everyday Makeup Routine

It's been a while since I've done an everyday makeup routine, so I figured it was time for an update! Typically, I switch up my look on a daily basis according to my mood and where I'm going. However, the past few weeks have been extremely busy and have involved a lot of traveling. Instead of having access to my entire makeup collection (since most of it is packed up from my move), I've been limiting myself to use only what I can fit in my makeup bag. This look would flatter absolutely anyone. Since it is natural, it is very versatile. I wore it on interviews, walking around with a broker in NYC to find an apartment and to dinner (see what I mean...versatile!).

Lip Products Galore

The past couple months I have been altering my makeup look to accomodate a fun lip color, instead of focusing on my eyes like I used to. I got some at the drugstore and the rest on Amazon! I've picked up some new products in the past few months that I have come to love and use on a daily basis. This has been my no-fail makeup routine that compliments well with my paler skin for the winter.  This may seem like a lot of steps to some people, but to anyone who knows me, that's just what I always wear. It's not that I am embarrassed in my natural skin, I just enjoy putting on makeup :)

A Classic Makeup Look

One of the most simple, classic and beautiful makeup looks is the red lip, winged black liner and wavy/curly hair. Think Marilyn Monroe-esque. I recreated this look, of which I was never able to master until now! I have hooded eye lids, making the "wing" be nearly impossible. I discovered a way to do the wing to suit my needs. I keep my eyes open when I initially create the wing.

Fall Ulta/TJ Maxx Haul

I could say Fall is my favorite season, for I do love the pumpkin craze (frappuccinos, candles, etc.), but unfortunately being in the middle of Florida, we don't really see (or feel) the seasons. In fact, I have NEVER once in my 21 years of life seen Fall leaves. Call me deprived? Yes...but I do get to go to the beach on Christmas if I want to! My day will come to see Fall leaves...and to see snow for the first time! I'm graduating in May and most likely moving back up to NYC. You better believe I will be in Central Park taking in the Fall beauty as often as I can!!
