My Everyday Makeup Routine

It's been a while since I've done an everyday makeup routine, so I figured it was time for an update! Typically, I switch up my look on a daily basis according to my mood and where I'm going. However, the past few weeks have been extremely busy and have involved a lot of traveling. Instead of having access to my entire makeup collection (since most of it is packed up from my move), I've been limiting myself to use only what I can fit in my makeup bag. This look would flatter absolutely anyone. Since it is natural, it is very versatile. I wore it on interviews, walking around with a broker in NYC to find an apartment and to dinner (see what I mean...versatile!).

How To Use Oil: Face, Hair, Nails, Skin

With the recent trend of multi-purpose oils, many people have asked me how I use them. I'm going to keep this short and sweet because I'm no expert! I just have a few quick tips to share :)
First off, what oils have I tried? Now I've tried Moroccan Oil and all that jazz that is meant solely for the hair, but I'm reviewing more of the multi-purpose/cosmetic oils from popular beauty brands.

My February Favorites

I'm a little late on bringing to you my February favorites, but better late than never! I'm now at home with my parents for my LAST spring break ever. Hard to believe I'll be a graduate in just 2 months and making my permanent move to the city of dreams, NYC.

February was a month where I really preferred the quick and convenient looks, without having to think too much into what I put on while still knowing it would look good.

Summer Sephora Haul #1

As you all may have realized, Sephora is my go-to place for all things beauty. Makeup, skincare, perfume...you name it! I'm lucky (and dangerously) enough to live ONE block away from a Sephora store. While that may sound incredibly convenient and tempting, that's not all. I walk to and from my internship, Monday through Friday, and pass this Sephora store every time. It's amazing I don't break the bank there, but I've resisted even stepping foot in the store...until yesterday, that is.

Tarte Miracle of Maracuja Skin Smart Collection

I'm so excited for this haul for I absolutely love all Tarte products. For those of you who saw my tweet @trulytwenties, I will soon be posting another haul of my new Sigma brushes! As for the Tarte Cosmetics Miracle of Maracuja Skin Smart Collection, I purchased it off of QVC when they had a one-day special going on about a week ago. It was all over Twitter and one of my favorite beauty gurus, Elle Fowler, had a video reviewing all of the products. I absolutely love Tarte products and considering all that is included, I knew I had to have it. If you put all of the products they give you together, it retails for a value of about $200. However, it was available for purchase on the QVC website for only $60, amazing! I'll explain what comes in the collection and a "first impression" review of each of the products.
